About Motivated To Run
Motivated to Run began at a time when running didn’t feel the same anymore.
The joy that once came so easily had started to fade, and I found myself struggling to feel inspired.
As a three-time marathon runner who started out unfit, overweight, and unsure if I could even run a mile, I know what it’s like to lose — and find — motivation.
Running changed my life once, and Motivated to Run was created to help others find that same spark when theirs feels lost.
This space is for anyone who’s had a tough run, fallen out of love with running, or just needs a gentle reminder that it’s okay to start again. Here, you’ll find honest reflections, training updates, and little bursts of positivity to remind you that progress isn’t always measured in pace or miles — sometimes it’s simply showing up, even when it’s hard.
Because running isn’t just about finish lines — it’s about finding yourself along the way.
And if you’re looking for encouragement to keep moving forward, you’re already in the right place.
